Indiana woman arrested on meth charges

A Seymour, Indiana woman arrested on methamphetamine charges Thursday bonded out of the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown, Indiana after only about 15 minutes, Detective Lt. Carl Lamb of the Seymour, Indiana Police Department said.

Mary J. Gallion, 46, was arrested on three A felony charges of possession of meth more than 3 grams with intent to deliver less than 1,000 feet from a school and two counts of manufacturing meth, Lamb said. She was briefly held at the jail on a $30,000 bond.

Lamb said the arrest was the result of an incident Dec. 7 in which a meth lab was discovered at 222 E. 16th Street and two men, Dwayne D. Skinner, 34, Taylorsville, and Jerry L. Gallion, 49, Seymour, were arrested.

The delay in arrest, Lamb said, came because police allowed Mary Gallion, who was taking care of her ill mother, to make arrangements for the woman’s care. Other arrests in the case are likely, Lamb said.
